While there are many companies that offer car transport – you don’t actually see who is transporting your car. At Hudson’s Car Carriers, the owner is the driver. Jason takes personal care to transport your vehicle safely from depot to depot or key points along the way from Perth to Broome and back.
Since Jason decides on the best route each trip, he is happy to consider small detours and timing adjustments if that helps his customers. We aren’t talking all over WA, but have a friendly chat and there might be something he can do. Given turning circles, road conditions and deadlines for all his customers, there are limits, but you are talking to the owner and driver.

What do I need to do to prepare for my Car Transport?
- Leave at least 1/4 tank of fuel in your car. We will need to drive your car to load and unload it
- Don’t pack your vehicle with luggage. Our transport must adhere to a particular weight of truck plus all cars loaded.
- Record any damages that your car currently has and remove all personal items.
- We Inspect your car with you at the depot to confirm its condition.
- Your car is then inspected at the receiving depot to confirm condition was unchanged during transport.

Inspection
Auto transport typically involves a thorough vehicle inspection before and after the vehicle is transported. You will typically need to be present for this process, but there are some exclusions depending on the exact situation.
The vehicle inspection is an important factor for both the vehicle owner, as well as the car carrier. If any damage occurs during the vehicle transport process, the car carriers insurance may have to step in and cover the costs.
Some people aren’t capable of being present for their vehicle delivery at a vehicle depot. When this is the case, the vehicle owner typically has to sign off on an acceptable replacement individual to step in for this requirement.
Hudson’s will work with you to get through this inspection process at journey start and end. We are fully insured and it is important that you receive the best possible service.

What happens if my vehicle is damaged?
Hudson’s Car Carriers are fully insured for major damage to your vehicle, but the first $1,000 is the responsibility of the owner. Note that all care is taken with loading and securing your vehicle for the trip, occasional rubbing can occur resulting in minor paint or panel damage.
Will my vehicle arrive on time?
Hudson’s Car Carriers run a regular service and unless weather or road closures cause a delay are generally on schedule, we do recommend you send your vehicle a couple of days earlier to cover this possibility.
Can I get a trailer or campervan transported by itself?
Generally, we can accommodate some of these items depending on their weight and dimensions
( we cannot carry caravans).
Do you only deliver to major towns?
Although we are a predominately Perth to Broome transporter, as a family business we will try to provide a service that will cover all requests.
